Our Story

wE ARE ASHLEY AND jOE hINDY

We are simple and broken people who love Jesus and want the whole world to experience the same love.

A few years ago, after being reminded of the Great Commission, we really questioned whether we were making disciples at all. We sought the Lord many times to allow us to be part of His work. He answered in a big way.

Around the same time, some of our friends invited us out to learn how to share in our communities. "You've got to come and see what the Lord is doing" they said. We were amazed at the stories they shared with us, so we went *gulp* door to door with them caring for people through prayer and sharing who Jesus is. This was amazing beyond what we ever expected! People were coming to faith and getting baptized as the Lord moved in people’s lives!

It started with sharing as much as possible and, as we were seeing people coming to faith, we started gathering these brothers and sisters into group gatherings. We have spent a lot of time discipling while also sharing some simple and reproducible gospel-sharing tools to encourage multiplication. God has been doing amazing things!

Ultimately, God has given us so much joy through His work. The joy that He has given us through making much of His name is incredible and unmatched!

As He was doing this work, God continued to lift our eyes to the nations. Our hearts continue to break for people throughout the world that do not have the joy that we have and the Lord continues to move our hearts in the direction of fulfilling His great commission. We know that He has already ransomed people from every tribe, tongue, and nation (Rev. 5:9) and we want to be part of His plan to reach those people. The work is all His, but it is our privilege to participate in it! Our King continues to blow our minds with what He is doing throughout the world and we are excited to continue to follow Him in what He has for us next.
